The landscape here consists of forests and hills.
Forests are full of Lodgepole Pine (our provincial tree).
Small streams are good for elk, deer, and cougars.
Work of beavers creates habitat for other species such as wood frogs, moose, grizzly bears, and a variety of birds including trumpeter swans and Lincoln's sparrow.
