Slider Components
Slider Functions (dragging)
- Drag a parameter thumb to change the value of a parameter. When you drag the thumb, the "thumb positioning buttons" and the "scale setting buttons" will disappear.
- When the parameter thumb points to a light blue region, the visible scale range will change, a sub-tick at a time. The scale will appear to slowly move.
- When the parameter thumb points to a dark blue region, the visible scale range will change, a tick at a time. The scale will appear to quickly move.
- When the actual upper end of the scale is reached, the light and dark blue regions at the top of the scale will disappear.
- When the actual lower end of the scale is reached, the light and dark blue regions at the bottom of the scale will disappear.
- Drag a parameter scale to move it. (ie. Change the visible scale range but maintain the visible scale length.)
- Drag in the gutter, towards or away from a parameter thumb to adjust the visible scale range by changing the visible scale length.
Slider Functions (buttons)
- Select a "parameter button" to enter a value for a parameter as text.
- Select a "thumb positioning button" to reposition the scale and parameter thumb so that the current parameter value is at the top, middle or bottom of the scale. (See the illustration below.)

Slider Functions (keys)
- The left and right arrow keys can be used to change the selected parameter [light blue].
- The up and down arrow keys can be used to increase or decrease the selected parameter. (Use this feature for fine adjustments.)
- If the keys don't respond, click the cursor in the applet then try again.
