Many of the demonstrations use simple animated intructions or more complex animated intructions rather than displaying lots of instructions as text. For some of the demonstrations, instructions cannot be displayed effectively without language (text). In these demonstrations text will be presented in the demonstration itself to familiarize the user with how the demonstration functions. The amount of text will be at all times kept to a minimum.
If you select "Grades 4 to 6" then select the term "Base Ten Blocks", the demonstration shown below will appear at the bottom of the display frame.
Read the text at the top of the demonstration and try all of the instructions. Notice that the instructions for a demonstration of this type could not be represented easily with either simple or complex animated instructions.
