Gene Zwozdesky
Gene Zwozdesky is serving his fourth term as MLA for Edmonton�Mill Creek (2005). He has served as Minister of Education, Minister of Community Development, Associate MInister of Health and Wellness and Deputy House Leader. During his career he worked as a teacher, administrator, professional musician, businessman and executive director on several arts boards. His extensive community involvement includes service to artistic, community and church organizations, including the Youth Emergency Shelter and the Fringe Festival. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his volunteer efforts. Born in Saskatchewan and raised in rural Alberta, Zwozdesky holds a BA (1968) and a BEd (1976) from the University of Alberta.
