Dr. Heinz Pyszczyk
Dr. Heinz Pyszczyk is the Parkland Archaeologist of
The Archaeology Survey of Alberta. His specialty is in
fur trade archaeology and initial European – First Nations
contact period. Currently, Heinz is researching the
map drawn in 1802 by Ki oo cus, a Blackfoot, for Peter
Fiddler. This map includes the area around Dry Island
Buffalo Jump and Rumsey.
