John Janvier

John Janvier is a Dene Elder who speaks Soun'line and is a language instructor for the Cold Lake First Nation. He was a participant in the Daghida Project which was a research alliance between the community of Cold Lake First Nations and the University of Alberta. This project looked at the loss of the Soun'line language and took steps to try to revitalize the Dene Soun'line language.
