Lorne Gibson

Lorne Gibson is the Chief Electoral Officer with Elections Alberta. Prior to joining Elections Alberta, he was employed by the provincial government in Manitoba for 25 years, working in such management positions as the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer with Elections Manitoba. He has degrees in psychology and sociology, and has taught various undergraduate courses in sociology, criminology, research methods and statistics over a fifteen-year period at the Universities of Alberta, Manitoba and Winnipeg.
