This modelling the tools is incorporated into critical challenges at grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7, however, it can be adapted for use at all grade levels.
On the board, create a chart, such as the one below. Invite students to share
their findings in summary form. For each photograph, ask for volunteers to
identify what they have learned about communities by connecting the four
questions to the features of a community.
